An Afternoon of Kissing the Muse with Robbyn Layne

Please join us at the American Book Center for an afternoon of creativity, inspiration, and a little Muse magic, sparked by Robbyn Layne’s debut book, Kissing the Muse: A Messy Magical Memoir & Creative Guide.

Through a mash-up of stories, musings, and a creative “kissing practice,” this book takes you on a messy, magical creative adventure to embrace your inner muse. Think Eat Pray Love meets The Artist’s Way for the next generation of self-empowering creatives.

In conversation with ABC’s own Claudio Tapia, Robbyn will share selected stories from the book, followed by an audience Q&A. You’ll also have the option to participate in a playful, creative ritual inspired by The Messy Magical Muse deck, a companion resource to the book. Similar to tarot or oracle cards (but with a twist), the Messy Magical Muse doesn’t predict your future—she helps you create it.
