Expressive Arts Adventure

This 4-week course takes you on a transformative journey to creatively "kiss" your inner muse for insight and guidance: YOU are the artist of your own life!

Each week, you'll explore a different medium and aspect of your inner muse through collage, mixed media, and expressive writing.

Discover new ways to think about your creative practice and learn how to use it to navigate life's "messy, magical, creative adventures."

So grab a glue stick, pen, and paintbrush and pucker up — the magic is about to begin!

The course starts on October 16th and ends on November 13th.

On October 30th there will be no lesson.

OCTOBER 16

WK 2   The Daily Dance — Home at Heart Muse

“Fill your daily dance with more joy.”

Project: "No Place Like Home" travel postcard or poster

Technique: transfers, drawing, painting, and/or collage

Supplies: ink pens, paint, paper, gel medium 

OCTOBER 23

WK 3   Creative Call — Seducing Siren Muse

“Rekindle your passion through change.”

Project:   "Manifesting Dreams"

Technique: crafting, ritual, painting on glass - or doodling

Supplies: Glass votive candles, glitter/charms, glass paint 

NOVEMBER 6

WK 4    Critical Resistance — Reluctant Rebel Muse

“Resist critics and take a stand.”

Project: "Ties that Bind"  or Blackout Painting  TBD

Technique: Stitching on photographs or Ink & Guache

NOVEMBER 13

WK 5  Open to Learning — Magical Guru Muse   “Receive what you need to act,"

Project: "Book of Transformations" altered book

Technique: Bring it all together

Supplies: old books, selection of paints/gel medium, etc.
