About the event

This hands-on creative workshop takes you on a restorative inner journey to get in touch with your truth and purpose by "kissing" your inner muse. The muse is a wise and inspiring constant guide that can provide the insight and direction you need for navigating life's wild twists and turns. Through an intuitive, collage-making process you'll tap into who you really are to discover what you need most at this moment. We'll co-create a safe, encouraging space together for authentic self-expression, deep personal reflection, creative exploration, and play — all while enjoying the stress-reducing, happiness-enhancing benefits of creative wellness. No artistic skill or previous experience is necessary. Materials and refreshments provided.

This is an Equals Amsterdam event.

Equals Amsterdam is a community where women* come together to support and empower each other in the growth and development of their careers. It strives for equality and more diversity in the workforce and is committed to supporting women* in the growth and development of their careers.

By working together and by celebrating and championing its members and partners, Equals brings out the best in everybody.

*Its space is inclusive of all women, non-binary, agender, and gender non-conforming people, and others who identify with our mission. Self-definition is at the sole discretion of that individual. If you feel you could benefit from a space meant for people who care about our mission, you are welcome.

Robbyn Layne McGill is a freelance writer, editor, and mixed-media artist who forged her messy, magical career by chasing her passions, wandering wildly, and celebrating the creative path. Through her Amsterdam-based company called Kissing the Muse, Robbyn creates and collaborates on a diverse range of projects, delivering books, blogs, content, and creative insight for clients. She also facilitates workshops, programs, and retreats for private groups and international organizations. She holds an MFA in New Practices, an MA in Transpersonal Psychology, and a BS in Journalism. She lives in Amsterdam with her British love and Dutch cat and works at kissing her muse.
