About the event
Blending expressive writing, archetypal imagery, reflective practice, and guided creative exploration, this experiential session invites participants to engage the creative process as a pathway to insight, meaning-making, and transformation.
The session begins with a guided active imagination meditation that invites you to slow down, reflect, and listen inward. From there, the mythic journey and the Muse are introduced as archetypal companions, offering language for experiences we recognize: departure, uncertainty, resistance, insight, and integration. The creative process becomes a way to navigate these experiences and make meaning from them.
You'll work individually with images and prompts, then come together for small-group dialogue and facilitated reflection connecting your experience to psychological theory and reflective practice.
You'll leave with a flexible, practical framework and hands-on techniques that can be adapted for use with clients, in supervision, in teaching, or within your own creative and reflective practice.
